Stadium Authority of the City of PittsburghOriginally formed to obtain the funding for and manage the construction of Three Rivers Stadium, the Stadium Authority retains responsibility for governing the facility's operation. The Authority's five-member Board of Directors is appointed to staggered three-years terms by the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh. The stadium itself is a regional asset housing Pittsburgh's professional baseball and football franchises while also serving as the venue for outdoor musical, food-based and motor sports attractions.
